![]() The same five side quests, clearing bandit camps by yourself, and endlessly running back and forth from fief to fief because the AI gets stuck rerouting itself to the next shiny new castle just to lose it before the next war two days later.įun for a few sieges, so maybe get it if it's steeply on sale, but I don't think there's enough to do for how much time they want you to spend in this game. ![]() Ultimately, really really unique game with really really fun early game and combat that tapers off REAL quick and the rest of it is a boring grindfest that requires far too many hours to complete versus what little content they have for you to do. The diplomacy? (what diplomacy, really?) and policy (and executions) were really interesting systems to the game that. Sure, perhaps you've overextended because your AI lord gave you a couple of towns that they repeatedly bashed their heads again to get for you, but still. The most exciting and thrilling part of the game is the early days where you're just starting out with a band of peasants and trying to survive against bandits and build up your party. A unique experience that shines for the first 20 hours and the next 80 is just you in denial wondering where that same feeling of fun went and if it's going to come back.
